OIT’s Instructional Support invites faculty from all disciplines to participate in a service that promotes faculty-undergraduate collaboration and partnership in research. Team members from OIT’s Student Technology Assistants for Research and Teaching (START) program will partner with faculty researchers interested in using technology to document and disseminate their research.
Faculty members can request an undergraduate student partner for assistance with designing a website or multi-media, digital documentation that highlights the faculty member’s research while the student gains an understanding and appreciation for scholarly research.
Periodically a research showcase will be held for participants to showcase their projects to the UT Knoxville community. Faculty members may visit the OIT’s webpage and request the services of a START Team member via our Request for Services form.
