ResNet is the residential computing networking at the University of Tennessee. ResNet allows students access to e-mail and the Internet, from the comfort of their dorm room through a medium called Ethernet. At the University of Tennessee, you have access to a DS3 connection which is faster than any phone or cable connection. To break it down in simpler terms, this means that web pages will load faster and downloading will take less time.
