My connection isn't as fast as it was when I was in the dorms. What can I do to increase my bandwidth? |
||||
Because dial-up connectivity only supports 56kbps and ISDN is only capable of 128kbps, you may want to consider subscribing to a broadband service such as DSL or cable internet service. If you live on campus, Telephone Services offers DSL service, however if you live off campus, you will need to contact a commercial internet service provider. In the Knoxville area, Bellsouth provides DSL service and Comcast provides cable internet service.
