Special NetID/Active Directory password limitations for the ERA Modem Pool

The ERA Modem Pool provides 56k analog modem connections and 128k ISDN connections.  A special account is required to take advantage of this type of network access.

If you have an ERA account, your password must be exactly 8 characters.  The UT dial-up software will not authenticate accounts with passwords greater than 8 characters.
