How do I forward all of my Exchange mail to another email account?

To set up mail forwarding for Exchange, please visit the Tmail/Exchange Account Management page.

1. Click "Manage Your Exchange Account." 
2. Login with your Exchange username and password
3. Select "Mail Forwarding". 
4. Enable mail forwarding
5. Enter the account to which you wish to forward your mail.  Note that we have no way of verifying that you entered this address correctly, so make sure that it's correct.
6. If you choose to "Retain Copies of Forwarded Mail" it may be necessary to login to your Tmail account from time to time and delete some messages to make sure you don't go over quota.  Alternatively, if you choose not to retain copies, emails lost or blocked by your new email service provider may not be recoverable by OIT.

Please note that by forwarding your email to an outside email system, you will lose the advanced functionality that Exchange provides, such as sharing, calendaring, flags, tasks, etc., and the integration with the UT community that Tmail provides.  Also, the system you forward your mail to may not be supported by OIT.  For these reasons, we do not recommend forwarding your mail to an outside mail service unless you have left UT.
