I can't connect to Active Directory or see my H: or I: drives when I am using wireless. |

OIT made several changes to the wireless network during the summer of 2009. Three separate wireless networks were created and named ut-open, ut-wpa2, and ut-visitor. These separate networks provide us with the capability to only allow access to sensitive resources from the more secure wireless network, ut-wpa2. Security has been greatly improved for our wireless users because all of their traffic is encrypted from their mobile device to the access point. This setup also greatly reduces threats to these sensitive resources because it limits the number of hosts that can reach the resources from wireless.
