Why am I getting Communication Error 25 or 26 during the registration process?

It means at some point in time during the registration process, the computer loss connection to the network. There are three potential things to look for:

1. Ensure that the ethernet cable is secure on both ends of the connection.

2. If you are using wireless, please make sure you are in a University building that has wireless access, and that you have good signal strength.

3. If you have a firewall different from the default Windows Firewall, please make sure that the connection is allowed by the firewall, or disable the firewall.
