Open Forefront and at the bottom there will be a Status section.


Under Antivirus definition: and Antispyware definition: it will have a Version number. That will be the definition version number.



Compare this number to the one at Microsoft's Malware Protection Center website. Their website is http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx.



Under the heading of Get the latest definitions, it will show the latest definition version from Microsoft.
