Risk assessment is a technical review service offered by the Information Security office for the purpose of identifying the impact and probability of potential threats to IT resources and to determine potential solutions for these issues. ISO can also provide security-related input when determining a technical solution to choose. Risk assessments can be done at any phase of a project by a system or process owner, or a designee. Only systems connected to the university network can be assessed. To request risk assessment services, contact the HelpDesk at 974-9900.
