Do I have control over enrolling and removing users from my Blackboard course? |
||||
Yes, you do have control.
Here's how you would enroll a user: Enter the course Control Panel. In the User Management section, click Enroll User. It's easiest if you search by Username which is the user's Net ID. Click on Search. Place a check in the Add check box next to the user you wish to enroll. Click Submit. To return to the Enroll User page, click OK. Note: The user is now enrolled in your Blackboard course, but is not necessarily officially enrolled in the course according to the registrar's office. Here's how you would remove a user: (Note: If a student has dropped your course, the student is already removed from your course and you cannot remove them. A student that is removed will have an X next to their name.) Enter the course Control Panel. In the User Management section, click the Remove Users from Course link. You can search for the user by Last Name, Username (NetID), or E-Mail. Click Search. From the list of search results, place a check in the check box next to the student's name you want to remove. In the Type The Word Yes text box, type Yes. Click Submit. Confirm the removal of the user by clicking OK. Note: The student is now removed from your Blackboard course. This removal only affects the Blackboard course and does not remove the student from the official enrollment list maintained by the Registrar's Office. |
