Yes, the Course Design feature allows an instructor to customize the look and feel of each course by managing their course design and choosing a navigation style.

From the Control Panel, select Course Design found under Course Options.
Course Menu Design - change the navigation buttons
  1. If you choose buttons, select a type, shape, and style
  2. If you choose text, select a background and text color
  3. Click on Submit
Manage Menu Display Options - choose the default view of the Course Menu
  1. Choose Detail View or Quick View
    - To show the course menu as folders and items in an expandable, controllable fashion, select the Detail View radio button
    - To show the course menu as buttons or text links, select the Quick View radio button. (Note: Quick View is the default setting for a course)
  2. To allow use of both views, place a check in the 'Allow use of both views' check box.
  3. Click on Submit
