No, unfortunately, the archive feature was removed when the Discussion Board was redesigned in an older Blackboard version. Instead, you now have the option to make specific threads hidden (locked and not visible to students unless they specifically choose to view Hidden threads), locked (visible and readable by students, but no new posts may be added), or unavailable (locked and not visible at all to students).

You can hide, lock, or make unavailable specific threads in the discussion board by going to the List View, selecting one or more threads, and selecting either "Hidden", "Locked" or "Unavailable" from the pull down Change Status to menu and clicking on the Go button.
