OIT HelpDesk
Welcome to the OIT HelpDesk website. The OIT HelpDesk is the first point of contact for many IT applications and services at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. We use the Remedy Action Request System to track Help Requests and to route problems to the appropriate IT support groups when necessary. We strive to resolve all IT issues in a timely manner.
Contacting the HelpDesk
There are multiple ways to get technical assistance from the OIT HelpDesk:
- Call the Telephone HelpDesk at (865) 974-9900.
- Visit the Walk-In HelpDesk in Hodges Library 2nd floor for Face-to-Face IT Support Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Submit a Help Request via the web at http://contact.helpdesk.utk.edu/
- Research your problem online using the HelpDesk Knowledgebase
