The process of producing your web video starts with the initial design consultation. We discuss your vision of the finished product and identify any obstacles to that vision. We'll also give you our "best practices" for creating a quality product. There is no charge for this service.
From that original discussion we'll work together to develop a script and a storyboard that details exactly what we want to see in the video. This too is a free service.
The rate for actually filming your video is $60.00 per hour. This time starts with the setup of the lights, sound, and video equipment and ends when the last shot is complete.
Note: As a rule of thumb it generally takes about 6 hours to film a 30 minute video.
Post-Production Editing
Editing is the process of polishing and improving your raw footage to look as professional as possible. Examples of editing enhancements include animated title screens and lower-thirds, inserting multimedia overlays within the live footage, background music, production credits, and cropping out undesirable sections of the video or audio.
Editing costs: $60 per hour of editing effort
Note: As a rule of thumb it generally takes about 3 hours to complete the edit of 1 hour of raw footage. Of course the actual time required will depend on the complexity of the edits and length of the footage.
