Under the direction of Executive Director Joel Reeves the role of Administrative Applications and Systems Development is to provide system analysis and development in support of the University’s administrative processes.
Advanced databases and programming languages are used to develop and implement these applications. System development includes online systems, complicated reporting, mass updates, interfaces, implementation of purchased software and any other development work that requires use of a programming language.
In addition, this department has responsibility for advanced printer support, form set up, data control and production job support. Among the mission critical applications supported by this department are Academic History, Accounts Payable, Central Services Accounting, Financial Aid, Payroll and Registration.
A variety of other applications are supported for the Knoxville campus, Memphis campus and University wide Administration.
